Aveeno Baby Eczema Equality
Changing Google image search results to help parents identify baby eczema on dark skin.
Black babies are 1.7x more likely to get eczema than white babies. But Google image search results only showed the condition on white skin, which appears very differently. And since Google is the first place parents turn for advice, we wanted to balance the scales. We captured over 1,800 images, created resources online and made sure they appeared when Google image searching “baby eczema”.
